Annett Höland is a graphic designer based in Liechtenstein. She graduated from the BA Graphic Design course at Central Saint Martins London College of Art and Design in 2009 and finished her Masters in Design at Werkplaats Typografie (NL) in 2011. She has worked as a freelance graphic designer with clients from the cultural and social field since 2011. From 2011 till 2013 she also worked as a tutor for Graphic Design at a preliminary course in Chur, Switzerland.

Grounded in conceptual thinking, critical reflection and a fascination for language and typography she works towards various outcomes. Going beyond the design of printed matter and book design into the digital world she aims for a project specific approach, hence allowing content be communicated in the best possible way.

In addition to commissioned design projects she is involved in research-oriented work and interested in generating content herself, seeing the act of editing not only in the context of compiling a book but in a broader sense, for example when bringing people together for a conference or setting up a workshop. Based on an interest in alternative ways of ordering and structuring knowledge and information she has engaged in projects related to the idea of the library since 2009.
